The conference will discuss the future vision of scientific and technological research, what it means to know microorganisms and genetics, and the best prevention and treatment methods for humanity.
It also discusses the integration of public health, animal health, plant health, and good environmental quality into the One Health approach; Which aims to address and study the links between the health of humans, animals, plants and the environment in a better and safer world; After the Corona pandemic, the world understood the great importance of the research and efforts of specialists in this field.

Professor Shablon stressed the urgent need for Arab countries in the Middle East and North Africa to participate in the comprehensive health initiative, and to define a specific way to implement it. Pointing out that the emergence of "Corona" provided evidence of the seriousness of the causative diseases that are found in animal warehouses, and the lack of preparedness due to the weak globalization of health issues.

Dr. Maryam Matar, Founder and President of the Sheikh Zayed Center for Genetic Research, stated that the conference aims to enhance cooperation between different sectors, to prevent diseases and limit their spread. Also, 75% of infectious diseases are transmitted from or through animals. The genetic axis is the basis of interdependence and coexistence between different organisms and their role in human health.

She said that the association focuses on several axes, including early and accurate detection of these diseases, by knowing the genetic component of bacteria or germs. And the world finally understood the importance of the direct relationship between different genetic origins, susceptibility to disease, or even response to care and treatment, using antibiotics, bacteria, or even types of vaccinations.

The UAE affirms its leadership in supporting global initiatives to reduce epidemics and infectious diseases in the world, as it supported global efforts to eradicate polio. The aid provided by the state constituted 80% of the volume of the international response to the affected countries.

The conference paves the way for addressing the full spectrum of disease control, by addressing the links between humans, animals and the environment, and includes prevention, detection and prediction that will help in preparedness, response and optimal management, and contribute to global health security. The conference will also be held annually to discuss progress and plan for next steps to implement the concept of health the one.
